Opening of New Smart Grid IT Competence Center in Telvent DMS Novi Sad

On Tuesday, April 17th 2012 the high management of the company Telvent DMS Novi Sad officially opened a New Smart Grid IT Competence Center. On this occasion, an opening ceremony was organized gathering all the relevant authorities, partners and customers.


The CEO of Telvent DMS, Dragan Popovic officially inaugurated the opening ceremony. He presented some major points of business activity of the company, by talking about a new generation of Advanced DMS which integrates DMS/SCADA/OMS, one of the biggest R&D Smart Grid IT team in the world with over 1000 developers, Telvent DMS's three-year road map and finally, about the correlation with the University of Novi Sad as Smart Grid IT background.

San Antonio (USA), January 24-26, 2012 –  Telvent DMS took a part in Distributech conference in San Antonio from 24-26.01.2012. In this conference Telvent DMS presented to customers and partners new features of ADMS software: newest release of DMS software aimed for USA market, new web and mobile client, completely automatized FLISR and VVO, peak load shaving, OMS, etc. Schneider, as a future owner of Telvent was in few presentation and expressed satisfaction for future cooperation with Telvent DMS. According to Schneider representatives, Telvent DMS is a missing piece from Schneider powerful machinery. Many consulting companies consulted Telvent’s boot about new features of ADMS software. There were negotiations for concrete partnership and project realization. Company TelventDMS is very satisfied with Distributech conference and is looking forward to getting the most of business opportunities that had been recognized in San Antonio.
